About

The Shepherd’s Guild is a 501c3 nonprofit service organization of Eastern Orthodox, chartered on September 30, 1999. The Guild organized The Anderson Greek Festival for 13 years (2006 to 2018), and the Mini Greek-Mediterranean Festival from 2019 to 2021.

Hospitality is an important thing in the Mediterranean culture and in the South; therefore, we are delighted to present the 2023 Greek-Mediterranean Pastry & Food Bazaar. The mission of the event is φιλοξενία (philoxenia), fellowship and service (stewardship).

Will you be offering karidopita in 2022? Please, please, please! My favorite after baklava, but a lot harder to find!

Will you be offering Lamb Gyros this year? I didn’t see it in the menu. It is our favorite entree, along with a side of your delicious fries.

Instructions for cooking the frozen foods? What temp and for how long?

    1. Defrost half pan for two hours. Preheat oven for 350 degrees. Slice the pastitsio into pieces and add a half of cup of milk to the pan. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes depending on the oven. Remove and rest the pan for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
